As our Group Work Coordinator you will manage and deliver of all BWA’s group work programmes, including Choices and Stop Think Feel. You will be dedicated to delivering a high quality programmes to survivors to empower them in their recovery from domestic abuse.
Your role will involve overseeing contact and assessment for survivors referred to the group work, to ensure there is our administration processes and safeguarding policies are followed at all times. You will also be responsible for reviewing our existing services and developing new programmes , including a wellbeing peer support group.
For the above vacancy, the ideal candidate will have experience of delivering therapeutic group programmes in a confidential and safeguarding environment, and have an understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on families. A full driving license and access to transport is desirable
An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate for this role.
