The Family Information Service and SEND Local Offer need your help!

They are looking for parent carers who can spare a little time to help review the SEND Local Offer.

Reading Families Forum, parent carers, Family Information Service/SEND Local Offer, and other services supporting SEND meet up online every 2 months to review and look at sections of the Local Offer. We also ask parent carers to review information every quarter though the Local Offer, this feedback is then used to improve information and access to services.

Tell us what you think, how we could improve it and be part of our directory refresh, helping us to further improve the information, accessibility and usage, and assist us in developing Reading’s SEND Local Offer, working in partnership with parent carers, children, young people and practitioners.

We really value feedback and input from parent carers, and would welcome parent carers to contact us. Parent carer input is so important as the SEND Local Offer is built around SEND family’s needs.
