The MSE Charity is dedicated to supporting UK voluntary groups deliver financial life skills, which make a lasting impact on the way people think, behave & manage their money. The February 2022 grant round is targeting and supporting groups who will provide and enable those living with long term challenges to become more financially capable.

What are the funder priorities?

The MSE Charity is looking for projects aim to improve and deliver personal financial life skills to people living with any of the following long term challenges:

  • Dementia
  • Autism
  • Learning Difficulties
  • Disabilities
  • Caring Responsibilities
  • Mental Illness
  • Brain Injury or Stroke.
Who is eligible to apply?

They can make grants to organisations which must be either a:

  • UK Registered Charity,
  • Community Interest Company,
  • Credit Union,
  • Non-Profit Company (limited by guarantee or social enterprise company, other than a Community Interest Company or Registered Charity),
  • A Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
How much can you apply for?

The grant limit of £7,500 per application.

Is there a deadline?
The applications are only accepted online in February and September each year.
The grant round is now open, and it closes on Friday 25 February 2022 at 5pm or earlier if 40 applications have been already accepted.
How to apply:
  • You have to take the Eligibility Quiz first, 
  • then, please complete the online Application Form.
  • Please remember they only accept applications electronically.
  • If your organisation is successful, they will endeavour to advise you by email informally within 5 working days of the GAP decision meeting date.
