Reading Borough Council is developing a ‘vision’ for its library service to ensure it is forward looking, innovative and provides an excellent experience for everyone.  A draft idea has been set out of what the service hopes to achieve and what it thinks its priorities should be. The council now wants to know more about how you use the library service, what you think of it, where you think our priorities should lie and what should be its future goals – for example, what improvements you would like to see in the town’s Central library.

There are a number of ways you can tell the council what you think:

Take part in the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/ReadingLibraries or pick up a paper survey and fill it in – available from all of Reading’s libraries.

You can also come along to Reading Central Library on Tuesday 24 August between 11am and 4pm. This will offer you an opportunity to feedback in person and the chance to ask questions about the library service.

This consultation closes on 17 September 2021.
