Community Engagers – closing date 28 June 2021

We are looking for local residents to join a team of community engagers reach out to help isolated and vulnerable people ease back into ‘normal life’ after lockdown. We will be using Food4families local community gardens as safe spaces where they can meet people, gain confidence, learn new skills and reactivate social connections.

Want to get involved?
  • Our community engagers will work min 3 to 4 hours a week and will be paid the Reading living wage.
  • Option may be available for more hours.
  • Training will be provided and no previous experience or formal qualifications are needed, just enthusiasm for working with the community.
  • Volunteers are also welcome.
  • To start July 2021.
