Seeking people with a sense of adventure!
Leading group activities volunteers needed for Berkshire Scouts in RG4
We’re seeking people with a sense of adventure who want to work with young people in your community, make friends and gain new skills at the same time!
If this sounds like you, then this could be the volunteering opportunity you have been looking for!
89th Reading Scout Group in Caversham Park is looking for help running its exciting youth programmes:
Beavers (age 6-8yrs) on a Monday evening.
Cubs (age 8-12yrs) on a Tuesday evening
The team are all volunteers and help to run the exciting activities alongside the youth. From abseiling to zorbing – we do it all!
We can offer you a free DBS check, free training, career skills, and a great chance to improve your CV. There’s also plenty of support if you’re wanting to help but aren’t completely confident of your skills. The most important part is that it’s fun and incredibly rewarding.
