We are looking for motivated and outgoing volunteers to help the service deliver high quality face-to-face advice to residents.
Working with qualified Southern Housing Group employees, volunteers will perform home energy visits to give advice on:
- Managing fuel bills.
- Using heating systems efficiently.
- Finding energy grants and discounts.
- Installing simple energy saving measures.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to gain a City and Guilds Level 3 in Energy Awareness, a well recognised certification in the energy advice industry, and go on to carry out their own visits.
This is an excellent opportunity for volunteers to develop skills in sustainability, energy efficiency, advice-giving and working with a diverse range of people.
