Support volunteers needed for Parents and Children Together (PACT)
Bounce Back 4 Kids (BB4K) is a 10 week programme for children and families who have experienced domestic abuse and is based on therapeutic activities.
The role of the volunteer provides support for the staff and participants and assists with the activities.
The groups are based in the community at different venues in Oxfordshire. However, there may be the possibility of transport from and to Reading.
This is an excellent hands on role for people looking to gain experience with a supportive team or for people wishing to gain the satisfaction of helping families.
The groups are held in school hours in term time and the next groups are in September 2016. The expectation is that volunteers are able to make every one of the 10 sessions to avoid emotional disruption to the groups.
