Shaw Trust is a national charity that helps people facing disadvantage to gain skills, find work and take control of their futures. Many of the people we support have multiple barriers to employment, including a lack of recent work experience, disabilities, health problems and a lack of relevant employability skills.

The charity has an active Reading branch and also recruits volunteers to work in its shops across the Thames Valley.
