Connect Reading is seeking a new Managing Director to take full responsibility for delivering its charitable aim of bringing businesses and charities in the Reading area together for mutual benefit.
Working independently, and supported by a volunteer board of directors, the successful applicant will be at the centre of delivering social value through brokerage and volunteering and running a range of scheduled and ad-hoc projects.
The successful applicant will be dynamic and self-motivated, a strategic and creative thinker, equally comfortable working with private, public and third sector organisations.
Excellent networking and project management skills are prerequisites, together with the ability to communicate effectively across all media.
