PACT has been at the forefront of adoption services for over 60 years, working with local authorities across the country.
With our outstanding rating with Ofsted, we work with a high degree of flexibility and innovation and are proud to support PACT adopters from the moment we meet and through the lifetime of each family’s adoption journey. We deliver this support in a wide and holistic range of services to meet the needs of our families; one of these is our flagship Adopter Hub.
The Adopter Hub is an online support service for adopters (both PACT and external) and practitioners which offers a suite of support packages including peer support via email, a webchat adopter discussion forum, and a range of resources using audio visual media and eLearning.
PACT is looking for an enthusiastic Content Editor to join The Adopter Hub team for 30 hours per week, over 4 or 5 days, to help both manage the site and create interesting and relevant content for our users. This will involve researching and uploading online content including eLearning, videos and webinars. You will also write communications for our Adopter Hub users though emails, surveys and social media, as well as supporting them with access to The Hub, answering enquiries and troubleshooting. Experience of working with Drupal, html, social media and editing audio-visual material is desirable.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative individual with strong IT and communications skills.
