Berkshire Vision’s May activities programme for people with sight loss across Berkshire

Berkshire Vision support new referrals if you’re working with someone who would like to get involved. This month there are a combination of face to face and remote activities, including the ever-popular picnic and walks, along with rock climbing for the more adventurous. There are also chocolate tasting sessions as Berkshire Vision is working in partnership with Hotel Chocolat to support them in making their products and services more accessible for people with visual impairments.

On the remote programme, there are employability workshops thinking about how we decide what our needs and wants are when it comes to making changes in our lives, as well as looking at options for learning new skills or qualifications.

Berkshire Visions Tech Buddies and Sight Loss Support Officers are back out face to face so if you’re supporting someone with sight loss who could benefit from 1:1 support to engage with smartphones, tablets etc do get in touch.
