This July, Reading Voluntary Action will be moving to a new office at RISC, 35-39 London Street, RG1 4PS.
Through July, we will be leaving our current office at Reading Central Library, and moving to new offices at the Reading International Solidarity Centre on London Street.
How to find us
If you’re reading this, it means you can still find us on the 3rd floor of Reading Central Library, Abbey Square, RG1 3BQ. Our office open hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am-4pm.
Once we have moved, you can find us at RISC. Our office will be accessible via the alley at the side of the building; training sessions and events we’re hosting at RISC will be accessible via the rear entrance. If you’ve booked to attend training with us and want to check where it will be held, please visit our training page.
Furniture and office items available to collect
The furniture and office items we are unable to take with us we will be offering free to charities and voluntary groups in Reading, provided you are able to collect it from Reading Central Library. How will RVA services be affected

Volunteering service – you can request a 1:1 volunteering appointment via this form, or email volunteering@rva.org.uk
Forums, events and training – Information on the training sessions we offer can be found here, and events from RVA and other groups here.
Get Online support – Digital inclusion sessions will continue at Reading Central Library and other venues around Reading as normal.
Community Wellness Health Checks – Health check sessions will continue at Reading Central Library in July, and at various venues across Reading after. You can book a free NHS health check here.
Social Prescribing – please speak to your Social Prescriber if you aren’t sure where you are meeting
