Our principal aim is to be a user-run mental health organisation providing support for the mentally ill and their families in Wokingham and West Berkshire. Our principal service is a crisis house where people committed to resolving a mental health crisis can stay. We have two short-stay rooms and two long-stay suites. Support is provided throughout. We provide an advice/information service and have a mental health library with free internet access. Our befrienders visit mentally ill people in the community and in hospital and re-involve them in social activities. Among our befrienders are drivers who will take people to hospital if necessary.
