Reading in Bloom is a small group of local people that run the local annual “In Bloom” competition for the residents of Reading. We try to include every aspect of horticulture and floral display, so the competition is not only for front gardens but also for allotments, business reception displays and more. We also run a School Challenge each year.

We are associated to The Royal Horticultural Society and therefore have a formal structure with  a chairman and other officer positions. Regular committee meetings and Annual General Meetings are held. Our aims are to ensure that the annual competitions are enjoyed by as many people in the town as possible, to ensure Reading has many beautiful floral areas for residents to enjoy.
