The Legacy of Valour Society (LVS) has the following objectives:

• To establish a forum of people who are interested in the history and heritage of Sikh and other Indian soldiers of pre-independence India
• To undertake research activities
• To share the history and heritage by organising lectures, talks, exhibitions, digital media and publications
• To promote this heritage and history through production of educational resources for schools and communities
• To organise trips to battlefields, museums and other places associated with Sikh and other Indian soldiers
• To seek funding for heritage projects from potential funding institutions and communities
• To undertake heritage and community projects underpinning LVS’s aims
• To support and promote any other charitable purpose for the benefit of LVS.
