Alan Place is situated in five blocks of flats along the Bath Road where it meets the Borough Boundary with West Berks at the Horncastle in Reading . There are 77 flats and we are all Sanctuary Housing Association tenants.
We have a really varied Ethnic mix of neighbours and we have currently 82 children between us.
Last year we rented an adjacent piece of land from Reading Borough Council to use as a Community Garden/allotment with help from our landlord. It is proving a great success.
We are currently working with our landlord to provide some play equipment for our children.
