3rd Reading provides Scouting for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers in the Caversham and Emmer Green area of Reading.

We are a large Scout Group with many different volunteering opportunities. We have a wide range of ‘behind the scenes’ roles that can be adapted to suit your availability.

There are also opportunities to volunteer supporting young people. We have:

• 3 Beaver Colonies (6-8 year olds) that meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays
• 3 Cub Packs (8-10 year olds) that meet Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
• 2 Scout Packs (10-14 year olds) that meet Wednesdays and Fridays
• 1 Explorer Unit (14-18 year olds) that meets on Mondays.

We love to help young people have fun and adventure!
