Programme Coordinator – closing date 14 April 2024

This role is integral to supporting Get Berkshire Active’s strategic objectives and delivering Sport England’s ‘Uniting the Movement’ strategy across Berkshire.

The Programme Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting Get Berkshire Active’s strategic objectives by effectively planning, coordinating, and delivering a diverse range of programmes and initiatives aimed at promoting physical activity and well-being across Berkshire. This includes engaging with various demographics, such as unemployed individuals and young people, fostering strong relationships with relevant organizations and stakeholders and collaborating with a wide range of partners. The Programme Coordinator will work closely with Get Berkshire Actives Strategic Leads across a wide range of programmes.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about promoting physical activity and well-being within the community. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and a team player, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. You should have a proven track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Additionally, you should possess the ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively without close supervision.
