We are expanding our adoption support services for families and are seeking a Group Worker on ad-hoc contract basis during school holidays.
We currently offer drama, musical movement, craft, singing, cooking, story and percussion sessions for families with children aged 2–10 years old adopted through PACT, and we are looking for someone who can help us to build on these existing activities.
We are looking for someone with a passion for supporting adoptive children and families. You should have experience in using creative ways of running group activity events for families, and experience of adoption in a personal or professional capacity.
You will be responsible for planning sessions for families with children in two age groups (between 2-10 years). All sessions will take place during school holidays. Ideally, you will be able to commit to up to one afternoon per school holiday (two afternoons in different weeks during August). Each afternoon would consist of two one-hour sessions for the different age groups.
It is essential that you are based in London and can transport your own materials and equipment to venues in Central London.
As a contractor you will need to hold your own professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
