Launching Wednesday 21st January 2026, Support Utd is a friendly and inclusive LGBTQIA+ football club where everyone is welcome, no matter your gender identity, sexuality, or experience level.

Whether you’ve played for years or have never set foot on a pitch, this is your chance to get active, meet new people, and have fun in a safe, judgment free environment.

Our sessions are open to everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community (and supportive allies too). We focus on building confidence, developing football skills at your own pace, and enjoying the social side of being part of a team. You don’t need to be super sporty or have played before — we’ve got people of all abilities and fitness levels. Each session is about connection, community, and movement — not competition.

You’ll be coached by former New Zealand International player Ria Percival, taking part in skills practice, fun fitness and small sided matches.
