Gardening / Outdoor work volunteers needed for British Islamic Gardens in RG6
British Islamic Gardens are a team of volunteers that work together to garden at local community sites.
If you like gardening, learning and working as a team your time and support (even if I you are only able to donate a few hours Adhoc) are greatly welcomed.
We are also looking for drivers who will be willing to collect garden waste that we cannot compost and deliver this to the local recycle centre.
We believe that gardening should not be work but a leisure past time and anytime that you are able to donate your is always valued.
BIG is a volunteer led community initiatives which aims to link communities whilst creating a greener space for all.
Although the minimum age for independent volunteers is 18 we welcome younger helpers supervised by a parent/guardian.
