Berkshire Scouts supports Scouting in more than a hundred communities across Berkshire providing fun, challenge and adventure for more than 8,500 young people aged 6 to 25.

We have an established and well-used county website (www.berkshirescouts.org.uk) and are looking for volunteer Web Developers to help us grow and build web apps. You would liaise with the process owner to agree a project remit and time-frame and keep in touch during the development and testing process until it is signed off. There will be support if you need it – you won’t be on your own!

Experience of working with PHP and MySQL is essential.

This is a very flexible volunteering opportunity. You’ll be home-based with just a few meetings here and there. You won’t have set hours. You will work on projects as and when they are happening.
