Do you have administrative experience and a good telephone manner? Join the small, friendly team at our head office in Maidenhead and become a Support Volunteer.

You will need to have experience in basic administration and computer packages, good communication and organisational skills and a friendly personality.

Key tasks will include contacting our Members whose membership has lapsed with a gentle reminder call as well as contacting new Members and welcoming them to the society. Calls will also be made to get up to date email and postal addresses from our Members and Volunteers. You will also help us maintain database records and other clerical duties include mailing, filing and general support to other members of the NRAS team as necessary.

You will also support the External Affairs team by contacting people who have used our peer to peer support services.
This is an ideal role if you want a flexible but regular volunteering opportunity (0.5 – 1 day per week), to be part of a team, to develop your skills and experience and contribute to the work of the charity.
