We are looking for IT support to support information technology (IT) systems and users, install computer systems and software, and maintain Shift Youth + Community’s (further called SYC Reading) computer networks and connectivity. We are looking for someone who would enjoy helping our SYC Reading team in IT support and who has skills/experience that can help us with these tasks.

Key responsibilities:

• Working with the SYC Reading team and in particular those responsible for PR and Communication.
• Provides IT support, training, and orientation for SYC Reading
• Offers troubleshooting, support, and repair when IT equipment or networks malfunction
• Asks directed questions regarding equipment and networks to assess IT issues
• Follows scripts to provide effective and well-tested support
• Documents daily tasks, training, and support sessions to inform the SYC Reading better regarding IT support needs
• Maintains records of hardware and software inventory
• Assists with maintaining information security through controlled hardware or software installation and SYC Reading education
• Advances knowledge of current technology and support solutions by attending workshops and continuing education courses
