At the British Red Cross we offer a service called Mobility Aids, which offers mobility equipment i.e. walking aids, wheelchairs Bathing aids so people can live independently in their own homes.
Our volunteers listen to the needs of our customers, show them what we have to offer and give a demonstration.
There’s also a small amount of paper work i.e. their address, how did they hear about us, how long do they need the piece of equipment, plus documenting the return of the items when they come back.
