Fundraising volunteer needed for Over 50s Community Activity Cafe in RG1
We are seeking a volunteer to help us investigate possible sources of grant funding to help us maintain and expand our service.
The role will involve researching local and national funders using a variety of sources, checking funding criteria and making recommendations to the board. The volunteer would also be asked to help in the writing of funding applications, with the assistance of board members.
The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent written communications skills, be able to work independently to research funding options and have a good head for figures.
The role can be carried out from home but with opportunities to find out more about our work and to collaborate with members of the trustee board.
This would be an excellent opportunity to gain valuable fundraising skills whilst making a real difference to the people we help.
