The Reading branch of the RSPCA is in urgent need of dog fosterers to care for dogs coming into the branch while they are waiting for their forever homes.
Full support from the branch co-ordinator will be provided as will veterinary care, food, bedding and other essentials.
As a fosterer you will need to:
- Have a safe and secure home and garden
- Be away from the dog for no more than 4 hours a day
- Commit to providing the exercise a dog needs
- Have some experience with dogs
- Be familiar with basic training
- Live in the Reading area
If you have space in your life for a dog but do not want the long-term commitment and you could offer a loving home to dog without the expense of keeping one, please contact our dog co-ordinator.
