Fundraising volunteers needed for Age UK Reading in RG30
Are you good at thinking up weird and wonderful ways to raise funds for local charities? If so, Age UK Reading would like your help.
This is us:
We have a small, but beautifully formed, fund finding team, with room for new members.
We don’t hold loads of meetings and we are not ‘a talking shop’. We do have to fill in forms occasionally but most of the time we are talking to supporters, finding new contacts, generating ideas.
We sell things at charity fairs, we cheer on our willing, energetic friends who run marathons, cycle, walk for us, and we get stuck into organising a wide-ranging set of events.
A couple of hours of your time would help us tremendously. It doesn’t have to be regular; you could join our ‘bank’ of supporters who help us as and when they can. You can give as much time to this as you like.
You will be helping Age UK Reading to support older people in our community to meet friends, socialise, access help and advice for their well-being and happiness.
