PACT (Parents And Children Together) are looking for volunteers who enjoy a challenging and rewarding opportunity and would like to contribute to PACT’s work to support, build and strengthen families in a vital role as Trustee.
You will share your skills and experience with a proactive board of Trustees with regular engagement and work with the PACT senior leadership team.
Founded in 1911, PACT is a charitable organisation covering the south east. PACT is a voluntary adoption agency working to find forever families for looked after children for which we have an Ofsted outstanding rating. Our award winning FACTS (Family and Children Therapeutic Support) service provides a range of therapeutic support to adoptive families.
PACT also runs a variety of community projects including Alana House, our women’s community project and Bounce Back 4 Kids, a programme for children and families affected by domestic abuse, both of which have been shown to provide a significant social return on investment.
Trustees are appointed for an initial period of three years. These roles are not remunerated but reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. There is an expectation that Trustees be available around two days a month.
Applications from people who have specific skills/experience in social care, finance, marketing or legal would be particularly welcome.
References and a satisfactory DBS check will be required alongside the completion of an appropriate safeguarding course.
