Reading Town Meal is an annual event held in Forbury Gardens. We use locally grown food to feed 1000 people.
We need a variety of people to support the event, including:
- team leaders
- stewards
- set up and pack down assistance
- marshals
- meal servers
Most jobs are allocated in two-hour slots but if you would like to do more then please let us know. Previous experience is not necessary.
We are also looking for anyone who grows their own veg who would like to “pledge their veg” for the event, which we would come and collect to cook up for the meal.
This will be a fun filled day.
