We’re building a new community garden at Whitley Wood Community Centre, and we’re inviting members of the local community to come along and get involved. Ultimately, we hope to build a community garden which is both a space for centre users and local residents to come and relax, and also a space where local residents grow food that is distributed through the pantry in the centre and/or by the Over 50s Lunch Club that operates from the centre. People will be able to grow produce for themselves, and also to give to the wider community.

People can do as much or as little as they want, and tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided.
