Most of us have experienced moments when something didn’t feel right, a comment, a behaviour or an interaction that made us pause.
Maybe we weren’t sure whether to step in, or we felt it wasn’t our place. There’s a powerful saying: “The standard you walk past is the standard you accept.”
This session is about recognising those moments and understanding that even small actions can contribute to safer, more respectful environments for everyone.
What we’ll explore:
- What Active Bystandership really means
- Why does being an active bystander matter
- How to stay curious, not judgmental
- Practical tools you can use, including the 5 D’s
