National Lottery Community Fund – Funding session for small or new groups on 3 Feb 2026

Join us to explore the funding options currently available from The National Lottery Community Fund and some top tips for smaller or newer groups to think about when completing applications.

The session will include a presentation from the local National Lottery Community Funding Officer, followed by an opportunity to ask questions.

There is also the opportunity to book a one-to-one slot with the Funding Officer, see the separate booking link on our training page.

Who should attend:

Anyone running or volunteering with a small or new community group in Reading.

Practicalities:

Registration and refreshments from 9.45am

The session runs from 10am – 11.30am

NEW Venue: Conference Hall, Reading International Solidarity Centre (RISC), 35-39 London Street, Reading, RG1 4PS. Come to the ‘event space’ entrance as marked on this map.

There is no parking onsite but RISC is easily accessed via public transport. Nearby car parks are Queens Road and the Oracle. There are also some disabled parking spots on London Street – see the above link. Please contact us in advance if you have access needs.
