A very successful event was held on 16 October 2025 to raise awareness, sew some patchwork quilts, raise funds and have fun for Project Linus Berkshire.

Over 100 people came along and could see the love and care that goes into making these quilts. Quilts are made for children and young people aged 0–19 who are ‘in need of a hug’.

Laura from Daisy’s Dream attended and received some quilts to take for their children who have been bereaved. She send this message following the event:

“We had a look through the quilts you gave me this morning – they are beautiful and we already have a few children in mind. Thanks for inviting me along last week, it was really nice to meet some of your quilters.”
