Marketing Communications Officer – closing date 14 November 2025

The Marketing and Communications Officer plays a key role in driving awareness, engagement, and fundraising success for My Cancer My Choices.

Responsible for delivering clear, high-quality communication across all audiences, this role leads the creation and execution of the charity’s marketing and communications plan in line with its overarching strategy and fundraising objectives.

The postholder will produce creative, impactful content for digital and social channels, manage the website, and grow the charity’s online presence and newsletter audience. They will champion the My Cancer My Choices brand, ensuring consistency and integrity in all materials, while supporting colleagues with marketing needs and event promotion. The role includes developing campaign materials, managing PR opportunities, and creating communications such as supporter updates, impact reports, and fundraising collateral.

The officer will also oversee marketing budgets, supplier relationships, and volunteer support within the marketing function.

A key focus will be measuring and analysing performance to strengthen reach and engagement.

Acting as an ambassador for the charity, they will build relationships with local media and community partners, help to promote events, and ensure compliance with data and fundraising regulations.

Ultimately, this role helps secure the charity’s sustainability through strong storytelling, community connection, and effective fundraising communication.
