True Food is a community co-operative, selling organic, ethical and zero waste good and household products.
This role is 25 hours per week, working Tuesday to Friday, with occasional Saturday working. You would be one of three shop managers taking responsibility for managing the shop supported by (and managing) volunteers. In addition you would buy products for us to sell, manage deliveries and plan and manage stock levels. You would lead on developing new lines in collaboration with other staff and stakeholders.
Essential skills include the ability to work as part of a team, good interpersonal and communication skills. In addition you need good numerical and problem solving skills, and proficiency with IT systems and tools (such as spreadsheets). This role also requires the ability to undertake safe manual handling of goods.

There is a generous discount for your personal purchases in the shop, 28 days holiday per annum (pro rata) and an occupational pension scheme. The salary is currently £16,536 (£12.72 per hour) and is reviewed annually. Staff training is provided.
