Younger People With Dementia (YPWD) is proud to bring our Bollywood Ball event to Slough as our first large scale fundraising event.
YPWD provides unique, age-appropriate activities, respite, health and wellbeing support for those diagnosed with young onset dementia and their carers, most of whom are their spouses and family members. We are one of the leading services dedicated to this age group serving Berkshire, Surrey Heath, Farnham & NE Hants. We provide a combination of one-to-one and group support, activities and workshops, education and training, carer wellbeing and respite.
As you will appreciate, as a charity we are always looking at ways that we can raise funds to support the work we do, and this year we are delighted to be hosting a fundraising Bollywood Ball! This will be held on Saturday 28th October 2023 at The Baylis Hotel in Slough and will be our first major fundraising event. As such we would like to make it as successful as possible and, with this in mind, we would really value your help.
Our event will include canapes, fizz & soft drinks on arrival, traditional Bollywood dancers who will run an interactive workshop, henna body art painting, a live auction, a fully equipped DJ and speeches from leaders in the charity sector as well as those who benefit from the support our charity offers.
An authentic Indian 3 course meal cuisine. Vegetarian and Vegan options available.
