Palmer Park Bowling Club’s Taster Day is when individuals and groups can try the sport of bowls and see what the club has to offer.
As well as the Taster Day, we are offering a six week Intro To Bowls Course. The club sees it’s job as promoting the sport of bowls and ensuring the presence of bowls in Palmer Park for many years to come. This will always mean the club welcomes people who want to try bowls.
There are many benefits of joining a Bowls Club like ours including: keeping active, social and community contact, health and well-being, making new friends, learning a new skill in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere. Although we play outdoors during the Spring and Summer months, we have all year round activities using our clubhouse and grounds in the heart of Palmer Park. There is no upper age limit. The beauty of bowls is that it is a game for all ages and can be played by different generations on a level playing field.
