Food4Families is organising a six-week series of Health Start sessions in September and October in association with Compass Recovery College.
If you want to explore new ways of improving your health and wellbeing this course is a good place to start. You will get to experience the benefit of being outside in nature whilst having a go at a variety of hands-on activities connected with growing your own food and wildlife friendly gardening.
Each week, we will explore mental wellbeing topics such as stress, resilience, self-care, and how we can each live a more mindful life.
Sessions will be on Friday afternoons at the Whitley Growallot community allotment in Meavy Gardens.
For details of Health Start please see the attached flyer.
Food4Families is also offering two other courses this month:
- Food4Families Growing Healthy Conversations – new courses starting in September
- Food4Families Growing Careers – new courses starting in September.
