The role of Volunteer Events Ambassador is to assist in the smooth running of various events held by the Charity within the Reading and surrounding areas.

A number of events will be held throughout the year, these will require assistance from volunteers in the setup, running and closing down of an event. The events will be in line with the annual events calendar which will be issued and updated from time to time. Some of the volunteering time will be in set up of events which could be on different days to the day of an event. The times can also be flexible around morning, afternoon and evening as required.

The tasks themselves can be varied, some may be physical, and for this purpose we carry out risk assessments on our events to ensure all staff, volunteer and participants safety.

There is no expectation for you to volunteer for every event and will contacted when spaces available to fill an event.

The Charity will provide you with a branded t shirt, volunteer badge and will reimburse you for your travelling costs.

What we ask of you is to bring your warm welcoming smile, positivity enthusiasm and skills for the role.
