RAB requires an office administrator with some bookkeeping experience to join our small and friendly team. We are looking for someone with a positive ‘can do’ attitude who can work productively with colleagues and the charity’s service users and volunteers.
The office administrator will need an eye for detail and strong record-keeping skills. They will be proactive in streamlining historic systems and in supporting colleagues in the admin aspects of their roles. This is a new role within the charity so the administrator will be designing and maintaining administration systems.
As well as day-to-day admin, the office administrator will be responsible for supporting the Treasurer with accounting, including moving from Sage 50 to a cloud-based accounts package, and for managing our bookings for the hire of Walford Hall.
When the hall is open to members the office administrator will be required to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9:30am to 2:30pm, with one hour flexibly worked to cover banking. The hall is closed to members for two weeks over Christmas and Easter, and five weeks over the summer and flexible working will be available during these periods.
Experience of MS Office essential, experience of Sage 50 and cloud accounting preferred.
Please email manager@raftb.org for a copy of the full job specification before applying with your CV and a covering letter.
