This role involves supporting Ridgeline Trust service users to enjoy gardening by helping them to participate in a variety of gardening task within our beautify garden. The volunteer will be supported by our horticultural therapist.
Tasks include:
- Supporting service users to learn key gardening skills (for example weeding, sowing, watering, planning and harvesting)
- helping service users to feel at ease by being friendly, relaxed and approachable
- getting equipment out and tidying away afterwards
- communicate well and report any concerns to staff.
