First Aid / Emergency help volunteers needed for South Central Ambulance Service NHS Trust
Volunteer community first responders for the South Central Ambulance Charity are often first at the scene, offering life-saving first aid and treatment whilst the ambulance is on its way.
You will be there to comfort the patient, and provide information and reassurance. You can choose which hours you wish to volunteer and will receive first-class training – skills which you can use for life.
You need to have access to a car, have an appetite for the unexpected, and the level-headedness required to make instant decisions.
The charity is looking for people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life. All you need is the desire to get involved and some free time – the charity will help with the rest.
Our current volunteers say this work is one of the most rewarding aspects of their lives.
Volunteers can choose a set day each week or flexible hours each month
