Would you like to use your lived experiences of mental health issues to support others?
How about training to become a Peer Support Volunteer at Reading your Way?
The role will involve either face to face or phone peer support with clients that you will be matched with, supporting the social meet ups and undertaking outreach work to tell people about our services. There is also an opportunity to co-facilitate training and help with interviewing as well as other activities.
The role offers a 4 day training course, organisation induction and on-going support, supervision and training as well as the opportunity to be part of the Peer Support Team at Reading your Way.
