Counselling qualified volunteers needed for No5 Young People in RG1
No5 Young People has been working for young people in Reading for 45 years.
We have opportunities for qualified counsellors and psychotherapists to develop their experience and skills working with our younger clients (aged 10-16) as well as some placements for trainee counsellors, who work with young people aged 18-25 and the adults who come for low-cost counselling.
No5 offers a supportive and diverse environment where therapists benefit from specialist, subsidized group supervision and a programme of CPD that includes our highly commended, BACP endorsed, Certificate in Counselling Children and Young People.
We also place counsellors in schools and GP surgeries and are developing opportunities for hourly paid work for suitably qualified counsellors.
