Volunteers needed to help with APS therapy
Action Potential Simulation (APS) is a relatively new pain relief treatment offered at the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre. It is a non-invasive electrical treatment. The treatment takes place 3 times a week over an 8 week period. Each user get a fully detailed treatment plan drawn up by the physiotherapist showing where to place the electrodes.
The follow on sessions are run by volunteers. This is where we need your help. During the sessions the volunteer will help to place the electrodes and set the dosage according to the treatment plan. There will always be a staff member available should there be any doubts.
We run the therapy Monday to Friday from 10.00. We are especially keen to get some help Tuesdays and Thursday.
