Administration volunteers needed for Refugee Support Group in RG1

Reading Refugee Support Group (RRSG) is looking for a volunteer to help with administrative and event organisation.

The main duties of the role will include:

  • Answering the phone and taking full messages.
  • Greeting clients.
  • Sending and bringing post.
  • Searching for and booking venues for meetings.
  • Helping with the planning and organising of meetings and events.
  • Attending meetings and taking minutes.
  • Helping with general organisation tasks.

This post would suit someone who is friendly, organised and able to work with minimal supervision.

No specific qualifications are required but the volunteer will need good IT skills and have a good standard of written English, conscientious and have strong attention to detail.
