Fundraising volunteer needed for Reading Sea Cadets (TS Jervis Bay) in RG30
Sea Cadets Reading have been based a Brock Barracks since 1966 and thanks to a huge fundraising effort, after the destruction by fire of their old HQ in 1982, have a purpose built building on the barracks site. Unfortunately, due to structural damage, the unit has been unable to parade in the building since 2014. They are now seeking to raise the funds to enable them to get back into their proper home.
Could you provide strategic support to help the unit plan a successful fundraising campaign?
The unit are looking for someone who has skills and experience in any of the following areas:
- Constructing fundraising and/or marketing campaigns.
- Securing grant funding for capital expenses.
- Corporate fundraising stratagies.
- Crowdfunding techniques.
The role would suit a professional fundraiser looking to broaden their area of expertise or someone looking to transfer their skills into the area of fundraising.
