Peer support has always been at the heart of the Reading Your Way service and we know from our service users, that talking to someone who can relate to your experiences makes a huge difference.
Our Peer Supporters undertake a variety of tasks including supporting our range of social meet up’s, one to one support, outreach work to ensure people know about our services and, if they would like to, support with interviewing and delivering training.
This role offers:
- Free 4 day Peer Support Training Course.
- Regular supervision and team meetings.
- Personal development opportunities through training.
- An encouraging and supportive environment.
